THURSDAY 3/28: Ludic Liberation Lab ~ FIGHT CLUB w/ Dana Sorman
Can we use conflict to clarify?
Dear Ludic Liberators,
CONFLICT = manifestation of differences โ in needs, goals, values, tactics. I want pizza, you want tacos, we are in conflict (unless, of course, we're at the combination of Pizza Hut and Taco Bell...). I want to kiss you, you don't trust me: conflict.
Existential players will clash regularly if their goal is to continue playing โพ๏ธ๐ฒ. Depending on the emotional charge, battle skills, and stakes involved, conflict can exhaust or empower, destroy or clarify.
In consensus reality, the first rule of conflict is you're not supposed to like it. But at the Ludic Liberation Lab, we ask: how can we make life's challenges liberating and fun? So, this spring, we embrace conflict!
This month, I invite you to FIGHT CLUB โ a Lab led by Dana Sorman, one of my favorite existential players ever, multidimensional explorer of holographic reality, adventurer, oracle, actor, warrior, inventor, manipulator of timelines. Fight Club is inspired by the powerful Meisner training method for actors, and is the relational technology Dana and her collaborator Edina use to psychologically prepare for their "high-risk, high-intensity, high-reward" holographic reality adventures. Fight Club uses emotionally charged contact with another person to reveal our own edges and remove the debris between us and our target desires.
You will NOT want to miss this experience!
